COMME DES GARÇONS HOMME PLUS
Comme des Garçons Homme Plus represents one of the most experimental lines within Rei Kawakubo's empire. First debuted in 1984 at Paris Fashion week it quickly gained a cult following and would go on to shape the wider fashion industry. Whilst the foundation of the collection focuses on traditional menswear garments Kawakubo continually pushes the line forward by playing with the accepted codes of classic menswear. Deconstruction, distorted silhouettes and the blurring of genders have been common themes throughout the history of the line.
